GPPrivacy policy
Last updated 25 October 2026. This page explains what personal data GP Golfing collects, why, and your rights under the GDPR.

What we collect and why
- Your account (when you sign in with Google or with an email link): your name, your email address and, with Google, your Google account ID. Used to log you in and to contact you about your lessons. Basis: our contract with you.
- Your golf profile (if you fill it in): handicap, years playing, best rounds. Used so GP can coach you properly. Basis: contract.
- Your lessons: the videos and photos you send, your notes, the chat with GP, and GP's analysis and notes. Used only to coach you. Basis: contract.
- Purchases: what you bought, when, the amount and your email. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them. Basis: contract and our legal duty to keep accounting records.
- Reviews you choose to write: shown on the site with your first name and initial once approved. Basis: your consent; you can ask us to remove yours at any time.
- Newsletter: your email, once you confirm it. We send tips, new guides and offers, and buyers may also get emails about similar products. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. Basis: your consent (newsletter) and our legitimate interest (buyers).
Who processes data for us
- Supabase: database, login and file storage, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Stripe: payments and receipts.
- Google: sign-in.
- Resend: sends our emails (download links, lesson updates, newsletter), so it handles your email address and the email text.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and delivery, and anonymous visit statistics (Web Analytics: no cookies, no personal data).
They only process data on our instructions. Some of them may process data outside the EU (for example in the USA); when they do, it is covered by the EU's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Who can see your videos
Only you and GP. Files are stored privately and are never public: they open through short-lived secure links, only for the account they belong to. We don't sell your data, and we never post your videos without asking you first.
Cookies
We only use the cookies needed to keep you logged in and to complete a payment. No advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
How long we keep it
- Your account, profile, lessons and chat: while your account is open. Delete your account and they are deleted.
- Purchase records: as long as Slovenian tax and accounting law requires (up to 10 years), even after you delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Contact us and we reply within one month. If you think we got something wrong, you can complain to the Slovenian data protection authority, the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si), or the authority in your own country.
Children
We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. By using GP Golfing you confirm you are 18 or older, or the parent or guardian of a child you use it for. If we learn that a child under 18 gave us data without a parent, we close the account and delete the data. Contact us if you think that happened.
